Testimonials:
"Hi Vickie. I would just like to say a big thank you to you for helping me train my Cocker Spaniel Robbie, if it wasn’t for you I would still be dragged round the village, it wasn’t enjoyable taking him out at all, but now it’s a joy he doesn't pull me at all.
Doing the Recall he is pretty good at that as well, I was scared when I was over the field on my own that he wouldn’t come back but he did, he also saw another dog and he didn’t run after it.
So a BIG thank you to you, you are a marvellous trainer and lovely person, will keep in touch x"
"After some lockdown messages of tips to try with my 2 Miniature Dachshunds, we had one fab session with Vickie. Her manner with the pups was brilliant as it was with us. 2 weeks later and we may have cracked walking without barking at everything and everyone! Thank you! Would and will recommend highly to anyone who needs even a few small tweeks for happy pups x"
"Vickie is amazing! She's the best trainer we've had and we couldn't be in better hands. Vickie has a wealth of experience, is very professional and in a short space of time we've already seen a lot of progress with our 8 month old Border Collie who absolutely loves her! We highly recommend 1:1 sessions!"
"Vickie was absolutely brilliant when we needed some help with training our puppy. She was so supportive and patient even when things got a bit tough for us. Vickie was always willing to help both in the 1:1 sessions and over the phone, She's got a wealth of knowledge and experience and is such a lovely person! We could not have managed without her help. Thank you so much Vickie! "
"We have two lovely Labradors we enjoy, training, walking, taking to cafes and on holidays in the country and on the coast. BUT life hasn’t always been so harmonious with our pups!
Baxter is our gorgeous boy, he came from a very reputable breeder and apart from the normal young pup antics he really wasn’t much trouble.
Tilly came to us as a rescue, and what a nightmare! Although absolutely adorable she was, “ feral “ and enjoyed surfing the worktops, chewing, she constantly barked, unfortunately had separation anxiety and no formal training.
Three months after Tilly joined our family my husband had a very serious car accident and after several months in hospital he came home to carry on with his rehabilitation. He had lost a great deal of use of his left side and his confidence had taken quite a battering. We found looking after our labs very difficult and it looked like Tilly would have to be re - homed.
Vickie was recommended to us by our local dog club she took the challenge of our family on with gusto! We had a multi disciplinary team to help with his recovery and Vickie joined as the Dog Trainer, this was so important in my husband’s recovery as Baxter and Tilly are his world. In the early days going for a short walk with the dogs was a huge challenge, my husband’s anxiety was so heightened and Tilly’s difficulties made every outing a major obstacle to overcome. Vickie showed huge patience and understanding, if one way didn’t work for him, she would come up with another solution. Over time the team has dwindled to Vickie and one support worker. We enjoy our life with our gorgeous Labs we can take them anywhere, walks, to the pub on a summers day and recently we enjoyed our first solo holiday in six years. None of this would have been possible without Vickie’s knowledge, kindness and understanding :- and Tilly, well I don’t know where she would be now, without Vickie.
Thank you Vickie"
